Duck Son
Duck Commander x 4D Large
Owned by Glasscock club lambs
Duck Commander worked very well for Middlesworth and everyone knows the worth of a 4D Large ewe so this guy couldn’t help but be a stud. So when the chance came up to bred some ewes to him we jumped on this deal as fast as we could. Duck Son is probably the widest topped sheep, that we have ever seen, correct in his lines and comes at you with the stoutness of a hog. Look for his babies in the spring of 2017.
Polo
Elite x Bullet on a 4D Large daughter
Owned with Glasscock Club Lambs
We have always been fans of Ellerbrock’s 2-4D buck and the Nathan Bullet on 4D Large combinations as well. This guy is chock full of genetic potential and did not disappoint. He carries the power of 2-4D along the style of Bullet. At 30 days old he caught my eye and every day since I’ve liked him a little more. Polo is a stout, good bodied, shallow chest sheep with lots of look. Babies from Polo will hit the ground in Feb. 2017.
Happy Hour
Open bar x Classic
In 2014 we were in the need of a ram and purchased him on a whim from Ellerbrocks at the Midwest Stud Ram Sale. Turned out to be one of the best moves we ever made. Happy Hour has produced several local Champions as well as produced sheep that have held their own at national shows. Happy Hour throws consistent wide hips and perfect hip loin junctions with a wicked rib and big square rack. His lambs are good easy feeders with natural muscle shape. Another set of his babies starting Feb 2017.
Reference Sires
GoldmineGuywire X CEO - RRNN Goldmine, the sire to our super new ram. This is a proven bloodline we have high hopes for in our future lambs.
"This ram is a proven stud. Glasscock continues to crank out winning wethers out of this ram and we are excited to have a few babies out of him on the way. Goldmine stamps his progeny with muscle and power to burn while still keeping everything smooth and eye appealing." - Langemeier

Rare BreedDead Miller X Guywire Thankyou Guy Glasscock for allowing us to bred some select ewes to rare breed for our 2012 lamb crop.Co-owned by Langemeier Club Lambs
Rare Breed is the real deal. He was a late lamb, and we usually don't like to use younger ram lambs, but when we saw Rare Breed we couldn't leave him in Zephyr. Due to his age we won't have Januarys out of him, but look out for his February and March lambs. This ram grew out better than we ever expected. He has the wether look, no question. He combines the best of Glasscock and Miller gentics into one package." – Langemeier

Texas GoldGoldmine x Kool ewe He didn't appear to have a tremendous amount of power or shag as a ram lamb but his structure and touch were out of this world. For his first season I put him in with a mixed set of ewes just to see what kind of ewes I should match him up with. To my surprise he worked on everything. All his lambs were consistent with rear power, level from shoulders to dock, big tops, long hindsaddle, dense black shag, expressive chest, wide stance, all tied in with his amazing feel. He is true to his genetics and definitely going to be a game changer for us. We are excited to see how the combination between Texas Gold and our new 4D Large daughters work for our 2013 lamb crop.
